Mark your calendar for the 2009 Structural Engineers Association Northwest Conference and Tradeshow presented by the Structural Engineers Association of Washington (Southwest Chapter).  This year's conference and tradeshow will be held on September 24th and 25th at the Hotel Murano in Tacoma, WA.  We have combined the SEAW SW Chapter Tradeshow with the annual SEA Northwest Conference (a rotating regional engineering conference, which will be hosted this year by the Southwest Chapter of SEAW).

The SEA Northwest Conference is a two-day engineering event, consisting of a series of technical seminars and meetings for conference attendees (typically consisting of engineers throughout the Northwest).  In addition to the Northwest Conference attendees, the 2009 Tradeshow will be free to attend for all interested design and construction professionals (architects, engineers and contractors) on Thursday, September 24th, which will result in the tradeshow event on September 24th being similar to our past tradeshow format.
This event will feature:

  • Vendor Display Areas
  • Complimentary Dinner & Beverages
  • Attendee Raffle
Please note:  Admission to the Tradeshow on September 24th is free for all attendees who RSVP before Wednesday, September 11th, 2009.  For attendees who arrive without an RSVP, there will be a $20.00 charge at the door.
Our annual tradeshow is the primary fundraiser for SEAW SW Chapter, a non-profit organization. All proceeds from this event go towards scholarships and an equipment grant for Saint Martin's University in Lacey, Washington.
Tradeshow Schedule:
        Thursday, September 24th, 2009
    • Vendor Set-up:  8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. 
    • Northwest Conference Starts:  1:00 p.m. 
    • Tradeshow Opens to Public:  3:00 p.m. 
    • Dinner will be served from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.  
    • Raffle drawing: 5:00 p.m. 
    • Tradeshow Ends:  8:00 p.m.
        Friday, September 25th, 2009
    • Vendor Set-Up:  8:00 a.m. 
    • Northwest Conference Begins:  8:00 a.m. 
    • Dinner will be served from 5:00-7:00 p.m. 
    • Tradeshow Ends:  5:00 p.m.
